The US News received final submissions for its logo design competition on Friday, April 9th. The monthlong competition was initiated to allow students to show off their artistic abilities and design a new logo for the News to be featured on the website and print editions. Part of US News’ ongoing effort to get the school community invested in its venerable newspaper, the competition will allow the News to update its marketing while simultaneously allowing for students to get actively involved in the paper. Though the editorial staff has not yet selected a logo, we received several commendable submissions. It will certainly be difficult to make a choice in the upcoming days.
On behalf of the editorial staff, thank you to everyone who took time to submit well-planned logo designs! We will announce the results of the competition as soon as possible.
