Readers, students, administration, community, Ohioans, Americans, For the past months, propaganda, one-liners, slogans, speeches, and ads have overwhelmed you. Despite the bombardment, one thing has become clear on both sides of the aisle. What Americans want is leadership that cuts the chitchat, and gets things done. Americans deserve direction in an increasingly confusing and chaotic world.
The presidential election process that we enjoy every four years allows us to find this direction. As Ohio’s primary nears, the war of ideas, words, and votes becomes the heartbeat of our democracy once again, in a way that, we hope, gives us the government we want for years to come. Ensuring we have such a government, a government that is interested in governing and not scoring political points, a government that rolls up its sleeves to throw aside gridlock, and a government that isn’t afraid to do the dirty work to ensure prosperity, means making the right choice in this process.
For all of us who want a government that does these things, reelecting Frank Underwood is the right choice. Under his watch, we made peace with China, we enjoyed America Works, the biggest jobs initiative since FDR, we ensured harmony in the Jordan Valley, and we gave a dignified death to Russia’s political prisoner, Michael Corrigan.
There is no man better to continue the job of making America great again, preparing America for the coming century, for leading a political revolution, and for reigniting the promise of America. We want Frank for America; we want the Underwoods for us. We want four more years.
So we say FU 2016. We say FU ISIS. We say FU unemployment, FU student debt, FU gun violence, FU inequality, FU climate change, FU discrimination, FU tax hikes, FU unbalanced budgets, and FU Iranian nuclear program. We say Frank Underwood is the most experienced, most committed, and most ruthless defender of the American people from the oval office.
Americans should have a president who will do anything to get it done. Because that’s what we deserve.
