Thursday, November 5th, 2015— Michael Tan presented his speech regarding his experiences maintaining his household during the absence of his mother. Tan spoke about his relationship with cooking, his family, and the greater culture of China. His speech illustrated the evolution of Tan’s attitude towards cooking and domesticity and his deep appreciation for his family.
