- Tennessee Titans- Laremy Tunsil, OT, Mississippi
The Titans took Marcus Mariota in last year’s draft and need to now protect their young quarterback. The Titans could trade this pick, but I don’t see them passing up the opportunity to solidify their protection with one of the highest rated offensive tackles since Orlando Pace (who is now in the Hall of Fame).
- Cleveland Browns- Jared Goff, QB, California
The Browns have many problems, but the most glaring problem is the quarterback, after Johnny Manziel was charged with domestic abuse, with his release looming. Browns head coach Hue Jackson said that hand size is important, but after a closer look at his film and his pro day, I believe the Browns will see Goff as the better QB.
- San Diego Chargers- Deforest Buckner, DE, Oregon
The Chargers only had 32 sacks last year, and even though they could select Jalen Ramsey with this pick, the thought of improving their sacks number will make them select Buckner. If the Titans trade down and Tunsil falls to 3, the Chargers would take him to improve their shaky offensive line.
- Dallas Cowboys- Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State
The Cowboys had both injuries and suspensions derail their season last year. This season, defensive end Randy Gregory has already been suspended due to drug use and Greg Hardy may not return to the Cowboys. Joey Bosa would be a great addition to the team. Double and triple teamed the whole season, Bosa’s numbers don’t look great, but any Ohio State fan will testify that Bosa’s presence was still felt in the every game.
- Jacksonville Jaguars- Jalen Ramsey, S/CB, Florida State
The Jaguars secondary was shaky last season, leading the Jaguars to look at the defense in the first round. Getting Jalen Ramsey would be the smart move, as he has played both safety and cornerback, which are needs that the Jaguars need to fill.
- Baltimore Ravens- Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
The Ravens secondary needs improvement in a division with 2 great quarterbacks, Ben Roethisburger and Andy Dalton. Not only does the division have great quarterbacks, but also great wide receivers. This includes the Steelers Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant, the Bengals AJ Green and tight end Tyler Eifert, and the Browns Josh Gordon and tight end Gary Barnidge. They can fix this problem by taking the best available cornerback on the board, Vernon Hargreaves.
- San Francisco 49ers- Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State (FCS)
Although the 49ers have Colin Kaepernick, his agent requested a trade, and the 49ers could move on from him. If this is the case, the 49ers need to take the best available quarterback, as Blaine Gabbert doesn’t cut it for Chip Kelly’s offense. Carson Wentz would be a great fit for the 49ers. If they keep Kaepernick, the 49ers should look at linebackers after losing Chris Borland, Aldon Smith and Patrick Willis in the past 2 year
- Miami Dolphins- Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
Watching the Dolphins while in Miami, I saw some holes that they need to fill. The most important is the offensive line. The Phins need to protect their young QB, Ryan Tannehill and allow him more time in the pocket for him to be more productive. Getting Stanley, the best offensive lineman available, will allow Tannehill to have more time in the pocket, allowing him to be a better passer.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky
Although the Bucs have Gerald McCoy, they still need more pressure from the defensive line. Noah Spence would be a great addition. Although he was kicked out of Ohio State, Spence is a freak of an athlete and arguably was the best defensive player while at Ohio State, even with Joey Bosa there as well. The Bucs already have their QB and RB in Jameis Winston and Doug Martin, so it would be smart of them to draft defense in the first round.
- New York Giants- Myles Jack, LB/RB, UCLA
Although he tore his ACL this year, Jack is one of the best players in the draft. Since was hurt towards the beginning of the year, he could return by start of the season, if not before. Although he played running back in college, it seems as if Jack will only play on the defensive side of the ball. New York might need a defensive end here, but they can’t pass up Myles Jack.
- Chicago Bears- Mackenzie Alexander, CB, Clemson
The Bears only had 8 interceptions, second worst in the NFL. They also let up the 5th most passing yards per game. They need to fix this problem. Alexander, being the best cornerback available, could fix this problem.
- New Orleans Saints- Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor
The Saints need help everywhere on the defensive side of the ball. Already having some good players in their secondary, the Saints should take the best available defensive lineman. Billings would be a good player to defend the run and get some much needed pressure on the quarterback.
- Philadelphia Eagles- Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
The Eagles need a quarterback of the future after trading Nick Foles to the Rams before last season. They can’t trust Sam Bradford with his injury history. Lynch could develop under Bradford if they choose to keep him.
- Oakland Raiders- Darron Lee, LB, Ohio State
Although they already have Khalil Mack, the Raiders have Aldon Smith, who has been suspended for the year. They need to replace him, but Lee could be a great player for long term. Lee destroyed the combine, running a 4.47 and an 11’1” broad jump. A great athlete, Lee could pair well with Mack.
- Los Angeles Rams- Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi
Although many have Treadwell ranked lower, the Rams need a receiver now that their running game is tremendous with Todd Gurley. They need to give their QB any help he can get, and Treadwell is their best opportunity to do so.
- Detroit Lions- A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama
After losing Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley, the Lions need some help on the defensive line. Robinson was one of the reasons that Alabama was the best defense in the country, especially in being number one in rushing yards allowed. He also was a two-year starter, and will take his experience from a successful team to the team that selects him.

I feel like the Browns should take Dan Smith out of BYU. He’s a solid guy.
